Wheels and tires were changed for improved traction and handling. “Hot rod” was sometimes a term used in the 1950s as a derogatory term for any car that did not fit into the mainstream. The Ford Model A roadster was $385.00 dollar brand new in 1928. This 1928 Roadster is totally different from the roadsters of the 1929 era. This classic hot rod comes with 383 stroker V8 engine, 3 speed turbo 400 shift kit 3000 stall transmission, 10 inch Chevy rear end and 4-10 gears. This 1929 Ford Model A is a lot faster than your original Ford Model A. This 1929 Ford Model A has less than 4000 miles since rebuild. The convertible top is manual.
